CHINESE NEW YEAR SERVICES

The first day of Chinese New Year falls on Sunday, 10th February. Many families will be away. The evening services are cancelled, while the morning services are at the normal times, viz.:

At SJRBC: 9.00am
At DRBC: 11.00am

No lunch will be served. Wishing you God's blessing for the new year.

Youth Camp: 19-22 Dec 2012

Venue: Shahzan Inn Fraser's Hill.
Theme: Salt of the earth, light of the world (Mt 5:13, 14).
(Note: Definition of "youth" is anyone not more than 90 years old.)

Update on Mentawai tsunami.

The earthquake-triggered tsunami of 25 October occurred at 9.40pm. The areas affected are in the three southern islands of Sipora, and North and South Pagai.

Earthquake in Indonesia

A number of friends have asked about the situation in the Mentawai islands, off the coast of Sumatra, after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck on Wednesday. We are relieved to say that our friends on the main island of Siberut have not been affected by the tsunami that followed the quake.
